We’re Recruiting Junior Ambassadors for Music (JAM) for Our Music Groups!

We are excited to announce that we are now recruiting new Junior Ambassadors for Music (JAMs). This is a fantastic opportunity for young musicians to take on a leadership role, support their peers, and help shape the future of our music groups.

Please note: To become a Junior Amassador For Music you must attend one of the music groups listed below.

What is a Junior Ambassador for Music?

Our Junior Ambassadors for Music programme gives young people the chance to represent others in their music group while playing an active part in how our groups run. JAMs help create a welcoming, inclusive and supportive environment for all musicians.

They are an important part of Sheffield Music Hub, helping ensure that every young person feels valued and included in rehearsals, concerts and events.

What will you do as a JAM?

As a Junior Ambassador for Music, you will:

• Welcome new members to rehearsals and help them find their way
• Support other musicians and make sure no one feels left out
• Help ensemble directors with tasks such as organising music
• Represent your group and share feedback with staff
• Collect ideas and opinions from other young people (Youth Voice) to improve the Hub experience

This role is all about being a friendly face, a great role model, and a strong voice for your fellow musicians.
