Sheffield Youth Wind Band is made up of woodwind and brass players from around Sheffield who are between grade 2 and grade 5 standard. We have great fun at our rehearsals and play a whole range of music from show tunes, pop tunes to film music. There is always something for everyone to enjoy. We have played lots of concerts including playing at Sheffield Cathedral, The Octagon Centre and Victoria Hall. We also play at the bandstand in Weston Park every summer.

Children playing the following instruments are welcome:

• Flute
• Clarinet
• Oboe
• Bassoon
• Saxophone
• French horn
• Cornet
• Trumpet
• Euphonium
• Baritone
• Trombone
• Tuba
• Percussion

Fees: Membership for our groups is TOTALLY FREE if you are in receipt of free school meals or fit our bursary criteria. We don’t want cost to be an issue, the friends of Sheffield Music Hub support with bursaries, please email musichubprojects@sheffield.gov.uk if you need help with the cost of fees, whatever your circumstances. 

Price Band B: £90 per term or £255 per year (September – July) If attending 2 or more Price Band A/B groups: £115 per term or £330 per year (September – July)
