Advanced – this orchestra is for young musicians (usually in Y9 – Y13) who are around grade 6 + level.
Entry is via audition
Senior Orchestra is one of the best school aged youth orchestras in the country and explores a full range of orchestral repertoire. As well as performing regularly in Sheffield’s finest concert halls.
We are an inclusive and innovative orchestra, who strive to achieve high quality performances in a fun and friendly atmosphere. Musicians are usually in Y10 – Y13 and are around Grade 6 + level, but we welcome applications from all committed musicians who would like to share great music with others and reach their full potential.
Children playing the following instruments are welcome to audition:
