No musical experience is required.

Age: Year 3 - Year 6 (if you are in Y7 or above you can join Youth Voices)
To join this group sign up online at least 24 hours before the first attended rehearsal.

Music is there for us no matter what the situation. It is there to cheer us up, make us want to dance and sing or to distract us from everything around us; now more than ever music has the power to help you soldier on and Junior Voices is the place to do it!
We are coming into our 7th year for the choir. Each week we come together, warm up, learn some quick and easy interactive songs and work on our performance pieces.
Our choir is 100% inclusive and we work hard to make sure we meet all of the needs of the children who join us. If you have any specific needs please do let us know and we will discuss with you how best to help. What to expect at your first rehearsal
If you think it might help, please share the Young Person’s Rehearsal Timeline with your young musician. This will give them an idea of what to expect when they arrive, the rehearsal and what to do at the end. Hopefully it will help calm some nerves :)
Fees: Membership for our groups is TOTALLY FREE if you are in receipt of free school meals or fit our bursary criteria. We don’t want cost to be an issue, the friends of Sheffield Music Hub support with bursaries, please email musichubprojects@sheffield.gov.uk if you need help with the cost of fees, whatever your circumstances.
Please note we only accept new members into this group in the first half of every term (e.g. September to October, January to February, April to May).
