Mini Music Makers is a fun, informal music group for 5–7-year-olds and we welcome anyone and everyone this age to come to our group! We enjoy games, sing songs, play percussion instruments and listen to music as well as creating our own. This helps us to learn how to read rhythms and keep a steady pulse, how to read simple musical notes and how to play music in a group with others. All this will help us if we take up a musical instrument when we are older! Come and join our relaxed and friendly group and start a lifelong love of music!
We enjoy learning how to:

We asked some of our young musicians what their favourite things about the group are and this is what they said!
- Favourite song/piece of music that we have played – Please don’t squish me, please don’t squash me – a fun, lively song about minibeasts
- Favourite game/activity that we do – musical parachute games
Come and join our relaxed, friendly group and help to lay a strong foundation for enjoying a lifelong love of music!
Fees: Membership for our groups is TOTALLY FREE if you are in receipt of free school meals or fit our bursary criteria. We don’t want cost to be an issue, the friends of Sheffield Music Hub support with bursaries, please email musichubprojects@sheffield.gov.uk if you need help with the cost of fees, whatever your circumstances.
