Let Your Child's Singing Journey Begin This September
Whether your child is always singing around the house, loves performing for family and friends or is simply looking for a fun new activity, Sheffield Music Hub's Youth Choirs offer a welcoming place to build confidence, make friends and experience the joy of singing.
This September, we're delighted to launch Mini Voices, a brand new choir for children in Year 1 and Year 2, giving even more young people the opportunity to get involved in music from an early age.
Together, our family of choirs supports young singers from Year 1 right through to Year 13, with opportunities to learn new songs, perform at exciting venues and develop musical skills in a fun and supportive environment.
Starting Out with Mini Voices
Our newest choir for September 2026, Mini Voices, is the perfect introduction to singing for younger children. Designed for pupils in Year 1 and Year 2, rehearsals are packed with fun songs, musical games and activities that help children develop confidence, creativity and communication skills.
No previous musical experience is needed. Whether children have sung before or are trying something completely new, Mini Voices provides a relaxed and welcoming environment where they can discover a love of music while making new friends.

Growing in Confidence with Junior Voices
As singers get older, they can progress into Junior Voices, our long-established choir for children in Year 3 to Year 6.
Now entering its seventh year, Junior Voices brings together young singers from across Sheffield each week to learn exciting new repertoire, develop vocal skills and work towards performances. Rehearsals are energetic, engaging and designed to help children build confidence while having fun.
Many young people who join Junior Voices discover not only a love of singing, but also the confidence to perform in front of audiences and work as part of a team.

Taking the Next Step with Youth Voices
For young people in Year 7 to Year 9, Youth Voices offers the chance to take their singing further while enjoying a wide range of music, from pop and musical theatre to classical repertoire.
The choir is known for its friendly atmosphere and exciting performance opportunities. Recent highlights have included performances at Sheffield Cathedral and Victoria Hall, giving members the opportunity to perform in some of the city's most prestigious venues.
Youth Voices is a place where young singers can challenge themselves, develop their musical skills and make lasting friendships with others who share a passion for music.

Reaching New Heights with Concordia Voices
At the top of the choir family is Concordia Voices, an inspiring youth choir for young people in Year 10 to Year 13.
Young people benefit from high quality vocal training, explore a wide range of musical styles and take part in ambitious performances and special projects. The choir provides a fantastic opportunity for experienced singers to continue developing their skills while performing challenging and rewarding repertoire.
Concordia Voices helps young people grow both musically and personally, fostering confidence, creativity and friendships that often last well beyond their school years.
