Rob Horscroft (Brass)

I began playing the cornet when I was 7 years old. I was first taught by my Dad and joined my local brass band a few months later.

Whilst at school I started having lessons through the Bromley Youth Music Service with Dennis Mycroft and Ray Allen.

After studying music at Colchester Institute, I completed a teacher training course and started teaching for the Bromley Youth Music Trust.

A few years later I relocated to Sheffield and worked for the Barnsley Music Service before taking up my current role with the Sheffield Music Hub.
