Sheffield Children’s Wind Band - Mercia School (Beginner Wind Band)

Virtual performances for our beginner windband, until we can rehearse again face to face
Beginner – this wind band is for children (usually Y3 – Y7) who have just started learning to play their instrument (and can play a minimum of 5 notes) and those who have been learning for a number of years (up to grade 3). The Music is specially chosen by expert Music Leaders so that it is just the right level for you. You can join any time, just come along and join in!
The wind band rehearses during term time in a number of our music centres: (you only need to attend rehearsals at one of the venues so choose which is most convenient)

To join this group sign up online at least 24 hours before the first attended rehearsal.
Please note we only accept new members into groups the first two week of rehearsals after each school holiday. If you would like to join outside of this time period please contact the ensemble director with an expression of interest, who will advise you accordingly.
