Brass Extravaganza 2026

We are delighted to invite you to a special evening celebrating the incredible journey of young brass musicians. This event is a fantastic opportunity to see the progression of brass playing, from the first few years of learning to university level and beyond into professional performance!

Victoria Hall, Norfolk St, Sheffield City Centre, Sheffield S1 2JB

The evening will feature performances from:

• Firth Park Community Brass Band
• Professional Brass ensemble
• Pupils from 6 Sheffield Schools 

Massed brass band of all players!

This is an incredibly exciting concert promoting the future of brass playing. It is a chance for young musicians who have only been learning for a year to see where their playing could take them. We will see performances from primary school classes of brass players, Sheffield Music Hub's Firth Park Community Brass Band and a professional 10 piece brass ensemble. Plus, then a massed piece with everyone, it might get a bit loud!
