Sheffield Music Hub Quiz Night

The Sheffield Music Hub Quiz Night is back! Join us this January for our annual quiz night. Families, friends, young musicians and staff are all invited to join the fun.

Quiz starts: 7:00pm
Doors open: 6:00pm – come early for a drink, a chat, and to get settled
Estimated finish: 9:00pm

We are raising money to support the Sheffield Music Hub's music groups and help provide opportunities that go beyond our core funding.

Our music groups are a vibrant community of young musicians, volunteers and staff. The money raised helps us provide those extra opportunities and resources that make a real difference to our members' experience and help ensure our groups remain welcoming, inclusive and inspiring places to make music.

Fundraising supports things such as:

• Travel costs for performances and events, including coach transport for competitions, concerts and educational trips
• Special workshops and enrichment activities with professional musicians and partner organisations
• Branded clothing for our groups, including Sheffield Youth Choir and Junior Ambassadors for Music (JAMs) t-shirts
• Branded folders, music stands and stand covers for our senior ensembles
• New sheet music and musical resources

Branded clothing helps create a sense of identity across our music groups. Young people wear their t-shirts with pride. It helps members feel part of their group and strengthens the sense of community that makes our music groups such welcoming and inclusive places.

Funding for trips and workshops helps us provide opportunities that would otherwise be beyond our core budget. Funding trips to attend competitions and concerts or providing workshops with external organisations are experiences that can have a lasting impact on our young musicians and help them develop both musically and personally.

The Friends and Volunteers of Sheffield Music Hub will be running a raffle on the night. We’d be grateful for donations to help us build a great prize table. Please do get in touch to provide them!
