Caroline Hallam (Voice)

Caroline studied acting at Birmingham School of Acting and has performed as an actor, musician and singer all over the UK. Her favorite role was playing Peggy the amazon pirate in “Swallows and Amazons” at Keswick’s Theatre by the Lake. Caroline's love of singing has led her to perform with numerous vocal ensembles in many exciting venues such as festivals, caves, castles and on a canal boat! She has worked extensively in primary schools facilitating singing projects, performances and workshops.

Since graduating, Caroline has performed as an actor-musician on a number of shows. She toured for two seasons with Mikron Theatre Company, who tour new writing to unusual venues. Perhaps even more unusual is that they tour by narrow boat. Caroline became crew member, expert stearer and tea maker alongside playing multiple characters, 4 instruments and the odd dance routine!

Caroline has a passion for working with children and young people. She was commissioned by the homeless charity CRISIS to write and develop a play and workshop about youth homelessness. She worked alongside a group of young homeless people in Sheffield to develop a play called Hidden Depths, which annually tours to secondary schools across South Yorkshire.

Caroline is thrilled to be part of the Music Hub team and very much looking forward to making some wonderfully exciting music across the city.
