Instrument: Guitar

William started teaching guitar on a part-time basis in 2014, shortly after hanging his hat up as a professional musician, having toured extensively for several years since a young age across Europe and the UK, during which time he was lucky enough to make live session appearances on Radio 1 and 6 Music, as well as MTV. William has extensive experience in the live music industry, mainly with a history in rock, indie and punk music in particular, alongside industry experience, having several years of involvement working closely with record labels on an independent and DIY level.

Since September 2017 William has been working full time as a guitar teacher in the Sheffield area. Lessons are available on Guitar, Bass and Ukulele, and are all delivered in a fun and interactive, ‘sound-before-symbol’ style, focusing on the student’s progression of musicality and rhythm, listening, musical theory, co-operation and much, much more!

William graduated from Sheffield Hallam University in 2010 with a BA (Hons) in Film and Literature, and was a self-taught musician from a very early age.
