Instruments: Flute, Clarinet and Recorder

Hannah is a graduate of Birmingham Conservatoire where she studied the flute with Jonathan Rimmer. She has had the privilege of having lessons with and performing in masterclasses with renowned flautists and has performed in various venues and events across the UK and Europe.

Hannah plays in one of Sheffield’s leading folk bands, Jack’s Rake and regularly performs in musicals and operas for various productions across the City.

Whilst Hannah is a flute specialist, she also teaches the clarinet and recorder. Lessons take place from her home in Hillsborough, a studio on Carterknowle Road and in various schools across the city. Lessons may also be arranged to take place at the students home with an additional travel cost.

Hannah teaches at Notre Dame Catholic High School, Tapton School, Malin Bridge Primary School, Clifford All Saints C of E Primary School, Stocksbridge Junior School and Stocksbridge High School.

Hannah’s pupils have the opportunity to work towards ABRSM and Trinity music exams. Hannah has 100% examination pass rate and she has taken many students from beginner level to becoming high quality musicians and flautists. Whilst music exams are a great way of progression, there is never any pressure to follow this route. If a student would just like to learn purely for the love of the instrument and music then this is greatly encouraged.

Hannah believes that music should be accessible and fun for all with each lesson being tailored to suit the individual student and be an enjoyable and exciting experience.
