Instruments: Flute and Saxophone

Originally from Sheffield, Annabel started learning the saxophone at the age of eight, when she first heard the Pink Panther theme tune and was determined to get it right!

Annabel loves playing in pop, rock, jazz and blues styles, having played in some function bands, and is officially trained in Classical and contemporary saxophone. She gained a degree in Music and Theatre from The University of Hull, performing in many different types of ensembles. Annabel is a qualified teacher of Music and Drama, having gained a PGCE in Secondary Music from the University of Huddersfield in 2013.

After teaching secondary for two years she moved to Valencia, Spain, and was asked to join 50s Rock’n’Roll band 'Red Clyde and the Bonnies' whilst teaching secondary Music and Drama in a British school; the best experience she's ever had! When she returned to the UK in 2017, Annabel taught primary and secondary woodwind in Doncaster, wanting to teach her instrument more specifically, and is delighted to be returning to her hometown to teach! She continues to maintain her own high standards by rehearsing & performing with the Langsett Dance Orchestra.
