Learning from and with professional musicians is key to progressing to the highest levels of achievement.

The following provide a range of advanced training:

Music in the Round provides master classes and workshops with professional musicians

The City of Sheffield Youth Orchestra performs the great classics and welcomes advanced players by audition aged 13 – 21.  They meet during school holidays

Sheffield Music Academy is a Centre for Advanced Training.  They meet on Saturdays

The award winning Festival Band and the outstanding Senior Orchestra rehearse evenings during term time.
