The Janet Altman Composing Competition returns!

Imagine your composition played as a World Premiere by the Endcliffe Orchestra in their Summer concert of 2019.

The competition is open to anyone who can demonstrate a connection with Sheffield, be this working, living, playing in a local orchestra or attending an educational institution in Sheffield.

There are two categories: 18 years and under; 19 years and over.

In each category the winner and runner up will receive a cash prize!

Applications open from 1 July 2017.
Last date for submission of compositions is 30 September 2018.

All entries must be the entrant’s own unpublished and original work, not previously performed for the public.
