The Friends and Volunteers of Sheffield Music Hub are recruiting new trustees!
Sheffield Music Hub relies on the dedicated assistance of a small group of volunteers to help with fundraising and strategic support. We now have an exciting opportunity for you to get involved and help us to continue to reach children and young people in all corners of the city.
This small group of volunteers raised a remarkable £22k last year supporting us during one of the largest financial crisis we have ever faced. This funding enabled us to enhance digital content for all our young musicians and support those who needed our help the most with bursaries for pupils on our Furthering Talent / Musical Stars programme.

How can you help?
We have an opportunity for you to join our Friends as a Trustee and help us continue to reach children and young people across Sheffield, particularly those who facing barriers to music making.
We are particularly seeking additional Trustees for the Charity to help with:
- Key role of Secretary
- Formal fundraising / bid writing (with support from Music Hub Staff)
- Informal events
Ideally, we would like up to 4 new trustees to help with this vital work. If you feel your child has benefitted from our support over the last 18 months now is the time to help us move forward!
There is some time commitment required to be able to contribute effectively to the team. This is definitely a role in which you’ll need to roll up your sleeves and get involved!
