SSELP ONE VOICE KS2 SINGING FESTIVAL

We at Sheffield Music Hub believe in the value of music and the effect it can have on children as they move through their school careers. One Voice KS2 Singing Festival is an opportunity to learn musical skills, enhance social and emotional development and create an experience they will remember. This year the theme is MUSICALS! Songs from the shows, chosen for their unique ability to engage and enhance children’s performance skills.

The SSELP One Voice Singing Festival 2023 will take place on Thursday 29th June 2023! Schools in the Sheffield South East Learning Partnership can take part in this event FREE of charge, including:

  • Two CPD training sessions
  • Two supportive videos for your class to take part in
  • Continued support from the project lead
  • A live performance at the University of Sheffield’s Octagon Centre alongside 700 children and 450 audience members!
  • A live recording of 1 song, released on Sheffield Music Hub’s YouTube Channel, for you to share with families, friends and other pupils from school.

We are really pleased that this year SSELP schools can bring 1 full year group from KS2 to this event - for 1 form entry schools this includes 1 class, for 2 form entry schools this includes 2 classes.

Families will be able to watch the event live at the Octagon on a first come, first served basis when tickets are released - more information on tickets will follow.
