As a cutting edge Music Education Hub we are constantly looking to ensure that we meet the musical needs of all the learners in the city. Our Music Technician will help move forward technical aspects of our organisation.

We are looking for an individual who is comfortable using technology and either has experience of, or is keen to learn, skills such as: sound engineering (for live performance); basic sound/video editing; instrument maintenance; event support and other music related technical requirements. The music technician will be responsible for ensuring that our studio is an exemplary space for the delivery of exceptional teaching and learning.

The Music Hub works with over 10,000 young musicians a week and the technician will work to ensure that the significant stock of instruments are ready for deployment at any given time. The person will be actively involved in the successful delivery of great musical performances and projects being on hand to ensure that all technical aspects are covered. This varied and hands on role will give the employee freedom to explore the development of the technical aspects of the Music Hub with the support of the management and teaching teams. They will work closely with the Music Hub Managers and Music Leaders to deliver exceptional musical experiences for children and young people in the city.
