Join our parent/carer volunteers

The Friends would like to invite you to the AGM of the Friends and Volunteers of Sheffield Music Hub on Thursday 22 March at 6.45pm, All Saints Secondary School, Granville Road, Sheffield, S2 2RJ.

They are a group of largely parents and carers, supported by Music Hub staff, which fund raise and support the events of the Sheffield Music Hub. All money raised goes towards supporting the young people involved in making music across Sheffield.

In the past year they have paid for concert music and supporting soloists, helped to fund young musicians attending the Music for Youth Proms at the Royal Albert Hall and held two alumni concerts to raise money towards the Hub’s Musical Stars programme.

Please come along to find out more and what their plans are for the coming year. They are also looking for new committee members. Many of the existing members have been in position between 3-10 years, joining when their children joined the Music Hub’s music groups. They meet 4-6 times a year. 

It would be lovely to see as many of you as possible. They will be meeting in the dining room at the school and complimentary teas and coffees will be available.
