Concerteenies' Musical Stories performance at Broomhill Festival

Published on 07/06/2022

Join narrator Polly Ives and harpist Louise Thomson for a magical adaptation of Arree Chung’s children’s book, Mixed, set to music by Paul Rissmann

The Blues, Reds and Yellows lived in harmony. However, when one of the colours proclaims they are the best, discord breaks out and the colours decide to live in different parts of the city. Then one day a Yellow befriends a Blue and they become inseparable, discovering a world of different possibilities and colours.

Sensory elements (bubbles, scarves and percussion), audience participation and vivid illustrations from the book will engage, inspire and entertain little and older audiences.

Saturday 11th June 2022. 1.30 & 2.45pm. Broomhill Methodist Church

This event is most ideal for 2-7 year-olds and their grown-ups as part of Broomhill Festival.
