Christmas Extravaganza Concert Cancelled

We have had to take the extremely difficult decision to cancel the Extravaganza concert at Sheffield Cathedral which was due to take place on Tuesday 7th December 2021.

This is due to a number of unavoidable factors, including current staff shortages. We have also taken into consideration the uncertainty surrounding the developing COVID situation, and with experience of last minute changes to the guidance in the past, we have decided to be proactive in order to minimise any potential impact on pupils and families over the coming week.

I appreciate that this will be a disappointment to members of Festival Band, Youth and Junior Voices, who have worked so hard to prepare for this concert. We hope that it’s possible to return to live performances in the near future when the circumstances permit.

Anyone who has bought a ticket for the concert will be issued with a refund.
