Music Champion Schools

The Music Hub invites schools who want to ‘champion’ the cause of music education to become ‘Music Champion Schools’.  This group meets every term.

Going forward the Champion Music School meetings will amalgamate into the Art, Music & Drama Primary School Subject Network meetings hosted by Learn Sheffield.

At the Music Hub we don’t want to duplicate work that is already taking place in the city therefore we are encouraging all of our Champion Music School colleagues to attend these meetings if they are able to.

Usually your school would need to be subscribed to Learn Sheffield to attend but it has been agreed that membership is not required for you to join in with these meetings.

The meeting format will be a break out of each subject group, with a Music Hub staff member leading the music segment, and then all the groups coming back together for a short period of time.

The next meeting is taking place on Monday 17 June, 4pm - 6pm at the Crucible Theatre.
If you would like to attend please email the Music Hub Projects Team.
