IVE (formerly known as CapeUK) is a social enterprise and charity that seeks to develop the creativity of both young people and adults. They teach creativity through training and consultancy, they nurture creative talent to inspire young people to achieve and they advocate for arts and culture to demonstrate the value of creative learning.
IVE, working in partnership with Create Sheffield, is offering you the chance to enrich, develop and strengthen your arts and cultural provision across the curriculum and the school community.
School improvement through the Arts
Awarded by Arts Council England the new Artsmark is a useful, practical and forward thinking tool. Re-designed by schools for schools in 2015, Artsmark will help you to embed arts and culture in your whole school improvement plan. It provides a framework and resources to assess current provision and to develop a plan of action to suit your own setting. It can provide evidence of how your school is meeting the social, moral, cultural and spiritual Ofsted requirements.
Artsmark is open to primary, secondary and special schools, pupil referral units and youth offending teams.
