Logan Macdonald (Guitar)

My name is Logan, and I’m a specialist guitar tutor. Since joining Sheffield Music Hub I have taught loads of young people to play several instruments in schools all over Sheffield. I have a master’s degree in music, a mastery of the instruments I play and a genuine love and passion for music in all its forms.

Some things about me...

• Favourite song/piece of music: My favourite song is probably Don’t Fear the Reaper by Blue Oyster Cult, although I listen to a bit of everything.
• Favourite thing to do outside of work: I love video games, spending time with friends, drinking coffee and playing music. That could be in my band, Good Damage, or with my solo project Logan & the Helix.
• Favourite food: My favourite food is probably curry, but I also love spaghetti Bolognese.
• Favourite place in Sheffield: My favourite place in Sheffield was The Dorothy Pax, but unfortunately it has closed.
• One thing about me that would surprise you to know: It may surprise you to know that I also used to be an actor who mostly did Shakespeare, but gave it up to study music in my twenties.
