Crown of Blood, Utopia Theatre and Sheffield Theatres’ powerful new Yorùbá adaptation of Macbeth, takes to the Crucible stage in Sheffield this February for one week only before transferring to Belgrade Theatre, Coventry. Set in nineteenth century Yorùbáland, this retelling is steeped in heritage, spirituality, music and movement, bringing a classic tale into a vivid new dimension.
